Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council meets six times a year – it is a consultative body that seeks to gives help and advice to the parish priest in fostering pastoral activity within the parish and the wider community. In the diocesan document “Called to be a People of Hope”  the work of the Parish Pastoral Council is described as focussing on :

  • Prayer
  • Liturgical prayer
  • Collaborative ministry
  • Adult education and formation
  • Ecumenism
  • Vocation
  • Youth
  • Family Life
  • Catholic schools
  • Acting justly
  • A people of welcome
  • Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
  • Environment
  • Interfaith dialogue

 Current Membership of the PPC is ….
Peter Kehoe – Chair,  Fr Reg Grey, Mark Britten,  Austin Davis, Tessa Lawrence, Vincent McLaughlin. Pat Quinn and Paul Spindler – Mary Bradley does wonders as our secretary.
N.B. Fr Anthony, Deacons Mario and John, as members of the parish clergy are automatically members of the PPC.
