” Monastic Retreat at Downside Abbey. This is for men only in the 18-35 age range considering a vocation to the priesthood or religious life. – 29th April – Rosary on the Coast: at 3pm, join our rosary prayer group in the church or in Greyfriars’ car park (weather permitting) praying the Rosary at 3pm. – 3rd May – Let it be! Session 1   Devotion to Mary –
at the Annunciation, Mary’s reply to Angel Gabriel “Let it be done unto me according to your word” is an amazing act of faith. Every Thursday in the Friary during May at 715pm we shall hold a video led discussion and prayer session to explore and develop our understanding of her contribution to our lives and our world. Please join us at any of the sessions on Thursdays—3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and/or 31st May

– 5th May – March for Life – in London and insupport of the Pro-life movement. If you wish to join the local coach contact the Parish Office (01275 873205 who will inform the co-ordinators in St Francis parish.

7pm at St Joseph’s Church, Portishead
– 23rd June 2018 – Parish Pilgrimage to Downside  and Mells will  depart Clevedon at 9am + return at 5pm. Costing: £15 per person & £5 per child. Please hand in cash/cheques to Parish Office, making them payable to ‘Immaculate Conception Church’ in an envelope with name & phone no. 43 pilgrims are joining us from Clevedon & Yatton – six places still available (contact Paul 01275 874972). The parish can help with costs if needed.

– 30th October – Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land 2018  Planning well ahead, Bishop Declan is set to lead a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2018 (22 – 30 October) staying three nights in Galilee, two nights in Bethlehem, and three nights in Jerusalem. Initial costings indicate a figure of £1210 per person (based on two people sharing). – for more information click here
